With a passion for architecture and design, Tyler Volker got his start in real estate back in 2012 at the ripe old age of 24. In a competitive and crowded business dominated by seasoned professionals, he was the youngest in his office and had made the move after deciding the mechanical engineering program he was enrolled in was going to mean many more years in the classroom - and longer than he wanted to wait to get started on his career.

“I had worked in construction and came to a point where I had to decide if I should continue and develop my renovations business,” says Tyler. “After working with other Realtors on my own projects, I realized I knew much more about the finished product, and I could add more value to buyers and sellers by sharing my knowledge while still doing what I love every day.”

Now with one year old twin boys and plans to move into a new home in Eagle Harbour, life for the Volkers is busier than ever. They focus most of their efforts in West Vancouver near Tyler’s lifelong neighbourhood of Whytecliff and the surrounding areas West of Caulfeild, although Lindsey’s background growing up on Vancouver’s Westside has made her familiar with all the trendy neighbourhoods on that side of the water as well.

“We’re able to provide a great deal of first-hand knowledge when it comes to renovations, finishes, buying & selling, and quality of work,” adds Lindsey.

Together working, living and raising their family on the North Shore has been a dream come true, and their down-to-earth and family-oriented approach, combined with an obsession with home design and architecture give them a unique skill set when dealing with their clients.

“I only see upward growth over the long-term,” Tyler finishes. “If you own real estate in Vancouver and are thinking of selling, I'd advise to always reinvest in our market if possible.”
